The Next Trillion-Dollar AI Stock?
Nvidia’s CEO Just Put This Chipmaker In The Spotlight. June 03, 2026
Research: Marvell actual chart
Date: June 03, 2026
Every once in a while, the stock market gives us a moment that feels bigger than a normal daily move. Not just another earnings beat. Not just another analyst upgrade. Not just another short-term rally.
I am talking about the kind of moment when a company suddenly moves from being “interesting” to being impossible to ignore.
That is exactly what happened with Marvell Technology.
On June 2, 2026, Marvell’s stock exploded. The share price closed at $290.79, up about 32.6% in a single day. During the session, it even touched $329.28, which was close to a 50% intraday jump from the previous close. Trading volume was enormous, with more than 112 million shares changing hands.
So what caused this massive move?
One sentence.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang reportedly called Marvell the next “trillion-dollar company” during Computex week in Taipei. Reuters reported that Huang made the comment while appearing alongside Marvell CEO Matt Murphy, and the market immediately reacted. Marvell shares surged more than 25% after the remark.
That is not a normal endorsement.
When the CEO of Nvidia, the most important company in the AI infrastructure boom, points at another chip company and says it could become a trillion-dollar business, investors listen.
And honestly, I understand why.

Marvell Is Not Just Another Chip Company
Marvell is not trying to be a traditional GPU company like Nvidia.
That is very important.
Instead, Marvell is focused on the hidden infrastructure layer of AI data centers. It makes custom chips, optical connectivity solutions, Ethernet switches, interconnect technologies and networking components that help massive AI systems communicate with each other.
This may sound less exciting than GPUs at first.
But it may actually be one of the most important parts of the next AI wave.
Modern AI data centers are not just piles of GPUs sitting next to each other. They are enormous systems where thousands, sometimes tens of thousands, of processors must be connected. These chips need to move data quickly, efficiently and with as little energy waste as possible.
That is where Marvell comes in.
The next phase of AI will not be only about raw computing power. It will also be about bandwidth, networking, optical links, custom silicon and system-level architecture. Marvell is building exactly these pieces.
This is why the Nvidia connection matters so much.
Nvidia already dominates the GPU side of AI. If Nvidia sees Marvell as an essential partner in the next generation of AI infrastructure, the market has every reason to take that seriously.
Nvidia Did Not Just Praise Marvell. It Invested Real Money.
The Jensen Huang comment was powerful on its own.
